Re: Anybody have a feature for exploded views in a part studio?
I just wrote the basics as an example:

Not published, not supported, but it should do what you want (quick n dirty explode in part studio).

Re: Fix Broken Mates option and dialog
You can use the filter with :errors to filter the tree to only show errors.
If you also have a bunch of other errors that aren't mate you can combine filters ":mate :errors"

Re: How to search for a Document Name, when only a few middle characters are known.
Eldon. I just tried the same thing and it worked. Are you sure that you have a document that includes that name or maybe a misspelling in the document name?
Re: How to search for a Document Name, when only a few middle characters are known.
What I have found is that searching for "foo" will find "blah-foo-baz" and "blah Foo baz" but not "bing_foo_bar" nor "BingFooBar". Searching for "*foo*" will find all of them, but takes longer.
Underscores or camel case don't work as well for Onshape search, especially for people that forget to use the asterisks.

Onshape Curriculum Unit 2 Lesson 4 & 5
I'm testing out the Skateboard lesson for use in my classroom next year and I'm having difficulty with the mates, in the assembly. I'm following the directions as written and shown in the videos but the parts are not mating correctly, then move when I do the next steps. What is going on?
Re: Lost substantial amount of work
Appreciate the comments. might have hit the check mark. First time using onshape. Recently retired CAD designer with 45 years experience with Soildworks and Autodesk Inventor. Don’t need a lecture, I now how to use CAD, doing a little kitchen remodel. Not a crisis to do it as one sketch. Just a simple question as to how to properly close it so it saves work.
