How do I create a point on a nurbs face?

Hi,
I need to know a way to put a datum(parametric) point on a freeform face. I also need to pass a plane normal to the surface at that point. How do I go about getting that done?

You can add this to your toolbar by clicking the "+" while visiting the document.

Steps:
1) select the face you want to project onto
2) select some sketch points you want to project
3) select whether you want points, planes, or both

The projection will be in the direction of the normal of the sketch plane of each point.
