Splitting an Imported File into Multiple Parts

I imported a file into Onshape from an Inventor file, but it marked a majority of my structure as a single part. I was wondering if there was a way to split the shape into several parts in Onshape?

nav Member Posts: 258 ✭✭✭✭Hi @sarah_syrop you can use the split part command, but not sure if it will work as desired (it all depends on the geometries of the parts you want to separate), Try using extruded surfaces to intersect the parts you want to separate and then use the split command.
