Hi, I am very new to this and am currently working on a 3d 5 gallon bucket. I have the basic shape of the bucket and it's drafted, but I cant figure out how to get the rings you see on buckets on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The revolve feature is usually the right approach for that sort of geometry. Sketch a cross section of the rings and then revolve it (with the "add" option selected so that it joins up with the existing bucket part)
