Is it possible to add "splines" and "rectangular" shape to indicate a detail view area

For detail view, we suffered the bad experience that we are only allowed to use circle shape to indicate an area. The circle is bad to cross with some unexpected features especially when the detail area is somewhat big.
Pls check below pic for evidence. Is it possible to add "splines" and "rectangular" shape to indicate a detail view area like I pointed out with red pen ?

@Alex_Huang006. There is currently no way to do this, but another method would be to create a configuration in the part that manually cuts the part to the shape you need and use that configured view in the drawing along side the full view. I will add this is an enhancement request for you on your behalf as well fo the automatic method.

Well, thanks for your response, and possible further enhancement. But I am not happy to do it by creating a configuration.1
