Draw only part of an assembly

Is it possible to create a drawing of only a part of an assembly?
I have created an assembly from a number of parts and sub-assemblies. This has allowed me to ensure that each component is in the correct relative position. I would now like to create a drawing which shows only a subset of the parts and sub-assemblies. I've tried hiding elements in the assembly, but they continue to be seen in drawing. Any ideas gratefully received.

You can use Display States for this purpose. Please see https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/display-states.htm?Highlight=Display%20States for more details.
Best,
Mike
Thanks for coming back to me so quickly - unfortunately Display States only manipulates the Hidden/Show status of an assembly component. I've discovered that to not show an item in the drawing it needs to be 'suppressed' which is a different visibility status.
Maybe it should be an improvement that Display States do actually suppress the component.
Thanks again.
