You might consider the use of a password manager that will automatically fill in the username and password fields.  That sort of tool makes the login process quite a bit less onerous.

Hi @planMODELmikro. How often are you needing to login? Modeling sessions have a 1hr idle timeout and the login session has a 4hr idle timeout.

The idle timeouts and password restrictions are based on good security practice. We have lots of customers with very sensitive designs.

Having said that, I've seen reports of people getting disconnected / logged out more frequently than I listed above. If that's the case, please open a support ticket, we want to hear about this and get it fixed.

Please give us options, you might have "a lot" of users with such requirements, but for majority hobbyists this is nothing but annoyance.

Also, it 4 hours is not idle timeout, but actual timeout, it can happen during actively dragging a circle in a sketch.

Hi @vanowm. It is idle timeout. If you are getting logged out dragging a circle in a sketch, you are running into something unexpected. Did your network get disconnected? Did the message in the blue box say "timeout"?

The next time you see this happen, please take a screenshot and open a support ticket. Sorry for the hassle.

No, there was no "blue box", it simply redirected me to login page.
On top of this, nobody seemed to mention, is every time it times out, or logs you out, you loose the undo stack. Yes, you can "undo" from the document history, but it's not the same as seeing seamless visual changes every undo step.
