Integration with Protolabs for digital manufacturing?

I've been a big fan of Protolabs since they started offering innovative CNC services several years ago (3 days is the LONGEST turn around time). Use of their services in my organization has grown exponentially since then. Since they are a web-based digital manufacturing service, integration with OnShape seems like a no-brainer, making it super easy to quote and fabricate parts. Their system automatically generates the tool path and shows potential manufacturing issues like small internal radii and thin walls. If that could be done within OnShape, it would be very powerful, allowing you to optimize your design for manufacturing within the CAD tool.
Anyone know if this is being pursued? Any experience with other digital manufactures (ie quote and fabricate parts directly from CAD through the web)?
