I'm running into a problem resolving an extrude on a student's test part, and do not understand what the issue is. Any ideas on how I can resolve this extrude? Thank you!

The boolean you are requesting with the "Add" tab of the feature results in a nonmanifold (infinitely thin) region on the part. You will need to either make the extrusion profile slightly larger or slightly smaller so that it does not meet at an infinitely thin region with the existing part. A specific way to accomplish this would be to nudge the left edge of the square slightly left of slightly right (depending on whether you want a gap or not).Jake Rosenfeld - Modeling Team6
