BIM, Revit-rfa files

I'm doing some home drain, waste, vent stuff and would like to import files that are under the BIM and/or Revit format. Not a big deal, but it would be nice.

I have the same issue. Are there any workarounds / 3rd party software packages that are recommended?
ChatGPT suggests several workarounds of exporting .rfa files as .step. Subsequently .step could be imported to Onshape.
Even shorter route is export .sat file from Revit and import it to Onshape.
I have extensive experience with Revit. What is it exactly you would like to do? You will not find any tool that will export native Revit geometry.
But you can export .sat file from Revit and import it to Onshape
right. among other formats. I suppose OP didn’t what the extra steps or had no access to Revit. Didn’t realize this thread was 5 years old. How is exporting to SAT shorter route than exporting to STEP?
If you have just a few files you want exported… feel free to dm me. If you’re looking for a long term solution, none that I know of.
