Computer Mouses?

I'm looking to possibly use Onshape for my high school students. If we use Onshape, the students will be at home doing virtual learning. My question is, do you need a mouse to be able to use Onshape? If so, I need to order a bunch of mouses. If not, then that'd be convenient.

Do you know what kind of computer the students will have?

If they have iPads, the iOS app is easy to use with the touchscreen. If they have a Mac computers, some people on the forums here have had good success using the trackpads on those. Trackpads on windows are generally a little harder to use, I've found for zoom/pan/rotate controls, but its not impossible.

Overall - I'd say the vast majority of users likely prefer to use a mouse. Since you'll be introducing people to the program, it would also be good for them to have a mouse so that they're not fighting the interface and can focus on the learning. The mice don't have to be fancy, though.

This should also provide some context on the controls for different setups:
