    Does the custom feature written by @lemon1324 (and posted above in this thread) satisfy your need?

    Just to reiterate, unless something in the back end has changed, that feature should not be used to actually constrain any geometry, though you can use it as a visual guide.  I also don't know if your duct has multiple materials, in which case the feature won't get the right CoM.

    It's really a visualization tool and not a modeling one.
