Sweep Up to a Plane

I am trying to sweep along a Helix but I would like the sweep to go no farther past the plane. This way I can sweep the other side to allow both sweeps to join at one point on the bottom of the part. Is there something I am missing or am I going about this the wrong way.

There are no "up to plane" option in sweep but you can sweep with "New" option then trim new swept body with plane, mirror it and then bollean subtract
