BOM names are not matching the names a give? Why

Hello.
I am a teacher trying to figure out where I went wrong.,  I am done with my assembly. When I go to make a BOM the names do not match. Why. In teh BOM everytghing is PArt 1 also on teh side bar to the left also Part 1. at the bottom are the names I gave.

    @kevin_daney054 - When you create a new part, there isn't anything that pops up, so you didn't miss anything. Since the parts are made as an output of the modeled "features", they just show up in the part list underneath the feature tree. You can right-click on a part there and rename it at any time as well.

    You have renamed the tabs but not the parts.
    Edit name in part studio along with part number.
    You can also edit properties in the assembly BOM such as Name, PN and description and it will drive through to part studio.
    Name of tab is for your ref. only since it can have multiple parts.

    Thank You for pointing out how to fix my problem.  It works now.  I guess I did not see something when you make a new part, to give it properties.
