Drawing symmetrical objects on sphere

Hi,
Wondering how others would go about drawing objects on a sphere to be symmetrical in every direction?
See image below of my trying to get the 'bumps' symmetrical in every direction around the sphere:

I ended up getting what I wanted with a bunch of circular patterns and mirror.

A Fibonacci sphere gives a uniform-ish spherical distribution:

I didn't see that in the feature script in your example.0 -
Ah! Debugging tool, I don't know if users have access to it. You can easily write your own custom feature that makes a sphere, see Feature Studio 2.0
