Show Mates

famadorianfamadorian Member Posts: 390 ✭✭✭
On the context menu, it has a "Show Mates" button, but nothing shows when I click it.

If I however hit the "k" keyboard shortcut, it displays all mate connectors for everything in the assembly.

Why doesn't the context menu button do anything?;)

The context menu "Show mates" shows them for the selected/clicked part.

If the selected object doesn't have any mates, none will be shown.

Pressing j on the keyboard will show/hide all mates for all objects.

Right, it did show it; it was just so far away from the object, I had to zoom out;). Thanks.

    No problem! Happy to help.

As a bonus tip, to quickly see your whole model, you can press f on your keyboard.
Then, to zoom back in, you can press w and select a rectangle that you'd like to zoom to.

Hi, I am working with a document and using the show mates option does show the mates on the model but not in the mates features lift. It would be quite helpful if this was the case.
