Tab and mating slot for SHS and RHS sections

I'm very new to Onshape and I have a question that I hope someone can help me with.
I'm trying to tab a SHS or RHS end to slot into the side of a SHS or RHS to be laser cut to aid in the assembly of this once cut.
This is probably something simple that I have missed but would appreciate any help.
