2 lines on different planes not connecting

Im trying to make a line on a different plane but use one of the existing lines on another plane for the angle but it won't snap to the other line. Im watching a youtube tutorial step by step and its working for him. Can anyone help?

    Usually indicates the end point of the line the other plane is not perfectly coincident with you current sketch plane

    Would using the USE command in a sketch on the second plane to capture the line of first sketch on the first plane, onto the second plane be useful in what you are trying to accomplish? - Scotty

    Have you tried  the Pierce command
