Dimensioning a Conic From A Base Line to Create a Patter

steve_fsteve_f Member Posts: 11 ✭✭
Hello,

I was wondering what is the best way to dimension a conic to create a template, so I can use a jigsaw to cut the curve?  Any suggestions or points to useful discussion are appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve.

Kind of figured it out.  I used the face of the conic solid for a sketch and created lines, and created a drawing of the that sketch.  Stumbled on the feature of being able to make a drawing of a sketch.  Very useful.
