How do i get the extrude to remove through an imported mesh?

Hello, I'm having trouble getting one of my sketches' extrudes to get through one of my imported meshes, I'm trying to expand/create a 3 inch hole inside of him to use as a

    There’s a FeatureScript called Boolean Plus which will work with meshes. Ultimately if you need to do a lot of work with meshes you’ll probably want to use other CAD tools. The capabilities in Onshape are limited.

    You need to turn the mesh into a solid first then extrude a hole. You're essentially trying to pass a cylindrical solid through a cloud of connected points.
