(Part Studio) Can you scale an imported picture on one axis only?

I would like to stretch the image on the X axis, but not the Y. Can't seem to do it using dimensions or transform.

As of now, not possible - you could add an improvement request.
There are a number of improvement requests that were for scaling sketches which are solved - 12/15/21 Improvements includes scaling sketches with transform. However, does not allow what you are asking.
A workaround is to create surface or solid geometry from the image and then scale that with Part Transform which does allow you to scale by axis.
