Why won't it let me extrude here?

I'm making a prototype mask but in order to connect the front with the rim I need to place pegs to keep them together, however when I try to add the peg to the front after removing the area from the rim, it gives me an error. I tried to figure it out myself but am having struggles. The problematic pegs are extrude 18

    Hi @gabe_tennyson_ !

It looks like fillet 7 is causing some issues with the part in question.  If you suppress that fillet, the boolean works.  Feel free to report this case to our support team so that we can check on why this fault is showing up in our geometry kernel.

Otherwise, maybe as a workaround you could manually sculpt that fillet shape using a sketch with a tangent arc instead of using the fillet feature, or try some different radii?  Sorry for the inconvenience, and good luck with your design!
