Drawing _ Line length

Hi every one,

I'm trying to draw a line with the length that I need (in my case it's 40 mm.) But I can not change the length of the line.
Could someone please tell me how to change the length of the line? I mean in drawing on the virtual paper (But not in 3D).
The Dimension function did not help me.
I will be happy if someone helps me. Thank you very much.

    Try selecting the line first, then dragging the end of it. This will ensure you are editing the line and not the dimension.
    Note that you can also insert sketches if needed: right click the view > show/hide > show/hide sketches.
