How do you change the the orientation of an assembly to become your new front view of your assembly?

There is some text below the GIF

At times, the first part people bring into the assembly, is something that they FIX in place, and then they start mating other parts to that fixed in place part

Instead of doing that, you can make a MATE CONNECTOR that’s tied to the origin, and then you could mate your first part to the mate connector, and then mate your other parts to that first part

Then all you have to do is edit the mate connector, in order to change the whole assemblies orientation

You can also use the manipulator on your first part (unfix it first) to rotate and position it where you want it.
Note you can move the manipulator reference by dragging its origin and it will snap to any mate connector points. You can also right click on any of the manipulator axes to align to "z" and right clicking on its origin lets you move it to the origin.
Once you are happy with the placement/orientation of the part you can fix it again
