Convert a string into a decimal

shawn_crockershawn_crocker Member, OS Professional Posts: 866 PRO
I am just finding it so strange that I can't find an answer to this.  I have a string in a variable.  I want to do math on it that requires it to be decimal not a number.  I see the stringToNumber function but just can't seem to figure the same thing but to a decimal.  Anyone?

I'm an idiot.  Its stringToNumber.  It looked like in the help that it would remove the decimal places and leave an integer.
