Break Lines

Hi everyone!
I ran a quick search on the forums and saw that a lot of people have requested break lines for drawings. I am modeling a very long part with a comparatively small profile. It would be nice to have a break in the drawing to show details on both views. How have you guys solved this problem so far? Any creative workarounds?
Thanks

Then create an assembly with the pieces and move the pieces closer together. Now you can create a drawing view from that assembly.
