help with cut lists please

i created a gate using the frame tool. I then selected cut list. selected all frames and this created a composite part in my parts list, and added a cut list to the screen.
when i go into the drawing i can put the gate on the page but when i select to add cut list a message pops up: "failed to find cut list for composite parts"
thanks for any help provided.

Did you insert a view of the composite part generated by the cutlist on the drawing? Or a view of one of the frames? Or maybe a part studio view?
You will need to insert a view of the composite generated by the cutlist feature in order to insert the cutlist itself.0
