The file size of a document does not change after deleting several part studios. Why?

To reduce the file size, make a copy of the document, which will strip out all of the edits and revisions to leave you with a "clean" document.  Then delete the original and you'll see that the copy has a smaller file size than the original.  A "purge" feature should be coming along at some point.

I think after deleting part studios it takes some minutes until the size of the document changes.

Hi @hakro not quite, Onshape record all steps you perform, so you can restore your file to any previous state. Onshape file will only grow in size.
