When in the configuration panel, in large assemblies with multiple configurations is hard to identify mates vs parts (for when suppresed) It would be nice if either theyre separated or diferent color or something so I can quickly search through them and identify them faster.

If instances you need to suppress are in one folder, you can configure suppression of the folder and then there will be only one entry (for the folder) in the panel.
Mates automatically ignored if any of the parts mated are suppressed so they don't need to be suppressed again.
This may or may not help your your case depending upon your design.
