When using frames is there a way to have an off center pattern.

I see that frame profiles is deciding geometric center/origin for the profile. Is there a way to offset the profile? I have something that wants an offset to match with a previous frame but unable to set location myself. In this particular application the origin wants to be outboard of the profile.

if the profile is custom from another part studio it should use the studio origin, so you could make it offset there. I'm not sure about the native profiles. You probably need to move your centerlines instead, or move the frames after the fact.

You should have the 9 points to choose from, and I think these are defined automatically from the bounds of the profile but if you need anything more granular than this you would need to either move the frame line or do a transform to reposition the member after the fact...

It would be nice if you could pick a mate connector for the frame "pierce point" for maximum flexibility (like the "transform pattern" custom feature)

Using the origin or a mate connecter would be handy. I tried moving the profile off the origin but got the same nine points. Have been adjusting sketches to get my offset.

Yeah, I didn't think the origin would come into play...
