How to move pane up

Can some one please, please, please tell me how to move Plane 1, which has Sketch 2 on it, up 10 cm. I'm total new to CAD and I'm trying to understand it for two days now but absolutely nothing works the way I'd intuitively think it would work.

What you can do however is to use a mate connector with offsets for "sketch2", then you don't need a plane at all and you can do it all in one step. See example in:

Did you open the linked document? The sketch plane for sketch2 is actually 10cm from sketch1 in the vertical direction, I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve but it sounded like that was what you meant...
The shape I had on sketch2 was just the projection of sketch1 onto sketch2 (done with the "use" tool) but if I drawn a circle on the origin of sketch2 it looks as shown above.
Maybe you were trying to project the shape on sketch1 onto sketch2 (although that doesn't quite look like what you meant)? Something like this maybe?
Can you clarify what exactly you are trying to get to?

Do you mean you don't want the plane at an angle? in this case I think you just need to use the "offset" option for the plane:
Otherwise the purple projected curve option would look like two superimposed circles from a top view (but the projected curve is an ellipse). If you want a circle there instead you can draw a circle where the ellipse is.
