It takes a while to update. Any way to optimize the internet?

I love onshape, wich i use to produce models for laser cutting. Its not my main job, its just a hobby. The program itsel is excellent, but web updates are often very slow and i dont know if the problem is with my internet service (100mb fiber), mayb because of my location (south of Brazil) or with the server (us-west-2). I use the free plan. I dont know if professional users have preference in acessing the server. The professional plan is too expensive for me to use. I have no problem with my files being public, but i would pay a small amount to have better (faster) access to the server...

If you can watch youtube videos without any issue, its not the web speed. It's probably your modelling technique. Some methods take longer than others to regenerate. If you share a slow document, people here can give some advice on how to speed it up.

  • After your answer, i go search more about optimizations. It appears that i was using some derived that was slowing it.
