Struggling here with something that's a basic core function in Solidworks and seems to be 100% missing from OnShape. Any advice? Please watch this Loom video for what I am looking to do: https://loom.com/share/2210636db16b4945804ebd0021bd5f38 (note, I said binary when I meant boolean...long day).

The point derive custom feature made by Alex Kempen is what I use to do a similar thing.

You can make a surface, import it using this feature, and then extrude it. The feature also has a boolean operation built into it so you can import a solid and remove it from a part in one step.
