Adding Cut Features to Structural Frame Parts

What is the workflow for adding drilled holes, milling, etc. to frame members? When creating a cutlist I see the composite part but I would like to specify additional operations on the frame members themselves and I do not see a way to modify these individual parts and document these features in part drawings. My specific application is creation of a space frame chassis from round tubing with coped ends.

Create your frame, and you have your cutlist.
Make your holes and other operations and suppres- unsuppres the sketches, extrudes etc in your configurationslist.
Now you can create assamblies, drawings etc of every configuration you have created.
