I am trying to make an internal thread of only about two revolutions at a certain region in my CAD drawing, but it's not easy to accomplish this. I tried using the ThreadCreator feature, but it does not allow fixing the thread at a selected spot. Also, I cannot create this custom thread at a selected spot using the sketch tool. Can anyone please help me fix this problem?
I have attached an image of the problem here.

You probably will need a split feature in the face to define the starting position.
The ThreadLab feature was very helpful for the thread I needed. However, I am still trying to get a split feature that will work. Do you by chance have any to recommend?
I'm not quite sure what you are asking about the split... I just used a split feature with the following settings in the example above.
EDIT: here's a quick example: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c6f509f684b0f732935bf9ae/w/9ca7144d3a48a3a61de3f2d3/e/92b9f1ea47de139ec1ca8265
Face split on the cylinder outer face (would work the same on the inside of a hole).
Entities to split: I used a mate connector based on the top face of the cylinder and offset down.
