Loft won't join to existing part

Hi all,
I have a loft that won't join to an existing part and I also cant add it to the existing part using boolean.
A second loft that I have done off the same set of sketches works fine.
Can anyone have a look at this and tell me what I've done wrong please?

glen_dewsbury Member Posts: 853 ✭✭✭✭There is a gap between the rib and part 1 which leaves a nonmanifold condition. Part 1 face is warped. I used a move face on the rib (0.1) to cause them to intersect. Because of the way sketch 1 & 3 are drawn only 1 of the 4 faces on loft 1 is flat.
