I want to 3d print a word “Word”, one will be extruded 3mm on another part I will remove the same “Word”, I want to be able to insert the extruded text into the removed text.
Due to printing, one will not fit into the other.
How can I reduce the extruded text to fit, or increase the removed text to accept the extruded?

Hi @ken_taylor393, Boolean subtract has an offset option that will be perfect for this. It is what I use when printing. If it is a big project with lots of connections, I usually create a few variables at the start of the project for controlling the tolerance of my parts. For example #lf for loose fit, #tf for tight fit.
