Pre selection disco effects in Assemblies

The pre selection in Part Studio works quite well - focussing on faces edges etc. But in Assembly mode the whole part gets the yellow LIGHTS ON treatment and this can be incredibly distracting, especially when in "mate up" mode when the cursor can be dancing all over the parts to locate the right connection point. You know that warning they give on TV when "strobe light effects" are on show, well Onshape needs that. Is there a way to turn this off? Maybe a keyboard shortcut?
