Hi there!
That's a great idea to use Onshape as a single source of truth for your entire workflow! You can certainly store your slicer files in Onshape alongside your design document. To import the file, follow these steps:
- Open your Onshape document.
- Click the "+" icon at the bottom left corner to add a new tab.
- Choose "Import" from the dropdown menu.
- Browse and select your slicer file, then click "Open" to import it.
In case you make changes to your slicer file later, you can easily update it in Onshape:
- Right-click the tab with your slicer file in Onshape.
- Select "Update linked file" from the context menu.
- Browse and select the updated slicer file, then click "Open" to replace the old version.
By following these steps, you'll have a well-organized Onshape document with all your design and slicer files in one place. Happy designing!
Best regards!
