Assembly reference the current working version of instances from different documents.

Just wondering if it's possible to avoid having to continuously right click and hit "update" if there is a new version available.  Is there a setting where it automatically pushes the newest version?

No, it's not possible if you are working across different documents. If all the studios you are pulling parts/assy's from are within the same document, then they update instantly as the default action.

If you move the referenced tabs from the other documents to your current working document, Onshape will recognize they are in the same workspace and won't require manual update. When your period of in-context work is done, you can move those tabs back out to their own documents to keep things tidy.

Onshape's references are very robust, and you move move tabs around without any trouble.

@romeograham That is a very creative workaround I'm going to try that out.  Thanks for the suggestion.
