Import, convert Sheetmetal part and showing bend lines in drawings

Hey All,
After many years I am giving Onshape another shot. I need some help..
I have imported a sheet metal component and now I would like to convert it to sheet metal, to be able to show the bend lines on the drawing. The issue that I have is that when selecting "Edges or Cylinders to Bend" Onshape gives me a "Collision in sheet metal flat pattern" error even though there clearly is no collision. So any tips on the right way of doing this would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it possible to turn the collision detected off? that would be even more helpful
