Extruding a circle on a curve part.

Hello I wish to create a circle on the grey curved part and extrude it to make a short pipe about two inches long. I cannot create the circle in the first place. Which plane do I used; how do I sketch on the curved part?

    Sorry, "Curved" part.

    Creating an offset plane and then drawing and extruding a circle "up to face" would do the trick.

    Can you sketch what you want the result to be? It's not clear from your description or model.

    "Up to face on plane two" Please write the steps.
