How to insert sheetmetal flat pattern

Hi, how do I get the 3D geom of a sheetmetal flat pattern to insert into an assy? (or to even generate a PN for it in its part studio?) I'm not finding it in the help section. Thanks.

Switch the insert search template to show sheet metal parts. The flat pattern is under the same part number as the folded box and does not come with it's own part number so is display in assy.
