How to mirror a feature and then transform the resulting feature?

Hi all,

Suppose I have a feature 1 and used feature mirror and created a mirrored feature. Let's call it feature 2. Is it possible to then transform feature 2, such as rotate/flip, etc?

Can you feature pattern the mirror feature only? Not sure if this works, but it's my best guess.

Mirror it as a "new" part instead of "add". Then transform the new part wherever you need it. Then union it with the main part.
