Error while trying to animate my project.

Error: Unable to compute any steps for this animation. Unable to apply transform. Instance(s) may be constrained.
I'm able to animate the project when I animate using one of the revolute mates. However, it gives me this error if I try animating it with other mates.

I don't know if I can give edit access through link-sharing.

When I copied your document and supressed the cam (part 1) I could move the shaft. I think you're problem might be the tangent mate since your cam has a flat section moving would violate that mate. If you want to keep that mate try making the entire cam curved. Otherwise try making a screw relation.
