Is it possible to add a variable defined in a Part Studio to a Variable Studio?

I have defined a measured variable in a Part Studio I would like to use in an assembly.
Cannot see a way to add it to a Variable Studio.
Cannot see a way to add it to a Variable Studio.

Currently, this is not possible. This would be great functionality to have.
