How do I remove the end of an extrusion after it intersects with another extrusion?

I want to trim the bit in red off the vertical extrusion after the horizontal extrusion. Not sure how to do this.

A few things to try. Move face to remove the feature. Create a plane (if the extrude feature has a planar face) and use the plane to split the part. You can also try offset surface with a value of zero. Move the boundary of the surface. Use split part using the offset surface as the cutting tool.
