is it possible to get a metal sheet model from a surface generated by a loft function?
when i select a surface the convert tool become red and fail.
i can do thicken and it work, but is not a sheet metal model to calculate/display flat geometry.

Unfortunately the surface is distorted. At least by the rules the sheet metal app uses. I've added a couple samples to show extremes so that it looks more obvious. Because you're coming of the radius at an angle, you're actually lofting from an elliptical form to an elliptical form. I thought I had an idea of how to make sections planner so hey could be bent but it didn't work. I'll think about it some more and try to make this transition into regular flats that can be bent.
