I'm trying to create a part for a head piece I'm working on but I have no idea how to make it

Hi there! Basically yeah just working on a head piece and there's a part I'm having trouble with 
 I'm trying to make the piece that wraps around his head I got the basic shape but I can't figure out how to do the curve downwards 
Here's a pic of what I have done for example:

I can't figure out how to do that curve in his headpiece hehe

The hair would have to be in a separate program, but, with the neck piece you could use splines and define it with a revolve around that initial piece. I know Jet-stream Sam and I feel like youd have to make separate parts from the helmet / headpiece for a assembly, Hope this helps!
