Replace Instance within Replicate Creates Errors

S_RegulaS_Regula Member Posts: 90 PRO
I've noticed when I use the Replicate feature and then replace an instance that is part of the replicate, the part isn't simply replaced within the replicate. Instead, it shows as "Missing entity" and requires a rebuild of the replicate to delete the "Missing entity" and then adding the new instance. Furthermore, this creates errors in my exploded view due to a "Missing entity" in all steps that had the previous part. I have to edit the steps, remove the "Missing entity" and then add the new part(s) to all affected steps. Without using the Replicate feature, replacing an instance will not cause errors in the exploded views, other than the explode directions and/or explode lines edges/faces selected. Has anyone else encountered this problem with replacing an instance that is part of a Replicate? Is there an easier method to replace them? I tend to not use Replicate very often, and this makes me want to use it even less.

TIA!
